Baby Bunnies

are back!

They visited us last year around this time, too. These are a little younger though - I don't think their eyes are even open yet. We didn't mess with them 'cept to snap a few pictures.

They're sooo cute! I could just adopt them all. Of course, I can't and I won't...but I will check on them and worry about them freezing to death. Mike left the baby-mama some carrots last night! (Cute, right?)

Aww! That is just too cute!

My mother always talks tough about the rabbits in her yard, saying that she's gonna trap 'em all because they're tearing up the garden, etc. Then, she finds a little bunny nest, and the next thing I know she's covered them more and put out a pan of water near them, because "they might be thirsty". :-)

Keep the kitties away from them! One of the most vivid memories I have as a kid is when the beloved family cat proudly presented us with a bleeding, screaming baby bunny. Horrifying.

I had a baby bunny on my back porch Easter morning. My kitty was going nuts, but she's a housecat, so the bunny was safe. They seem to be everywhere the last week or so.
