Cat Eyes

These creeeeeeeepy eyes greeted us from the window when we got home Saturday night.

Seriously though, it was really cute to see them sitting there together
but only their eyes appeared in the picture...

Mike was in OKC (again) for more training (again). Hopefully, it's over now (again).

Anyhooooo, always the "Cat Whisperer", he found some kitties in his apartment complex there. We were able to capture one on camera:

Oh, and can't these people take down their Christmas decorations??? It's a few weeks into March!

Vent Kitties

These pictures were taken near the end of February - you know, when it was still cold! (HA!)

Positive thinking/living in a dream world is leading me to believe that Spring is right around the corner...it sure feels like it today. I'm going to just start wearing Springy stuff and that'll make it happen, right??? Right.

Anyhoo, our house is about a million years old and even though we actually heat it (my last gas bill can attest to that) - it never quite feels warm and home-y.

On the flip side of my cranky Verizon calling of last week, last night while I was heading out for a quick errand I decided to pull out some old CDs and sing along. I came accross The Judds - Greatest Hits. I did grow up in Texas after all and I listen to all types of music. Everything from country to rap to rock to whatever. I love everything! So, I'm driving along and I'm belting out these lyrics to "Love is Alive":

I couldn't even get through it without choking up...I was just sooo happy. I've always considered myself lucky and felt incredibly happy and amazed that I have this wonderful, amazing husband. But now I also have this incredible person growing inside me...

I'm surrounded by love.
