Shopping

I really need to start brining my camera with me while I'm shopping. I have a camera phone - but the cheapskate in me doesn't like the 50 cents/photo charge. Case in point: I missed the pre-dyed Easter eggs they had at the store - I think they were selling for around $3.00/dozen...but I guess we'll just never know because I didn't get photographic evidence.

Here are some items I've seen recently:

Now, I guess bubble gum flavored floss isn't all that weird. I mean, mint flavored is very common. My dentist uses root beer flavored cleaning stuff on my teeth - - but for some reason, bubble gum floss just sounded funny to me.

Here we have a sign I found at my Schnucks. Let me preface this by saying that I loooooove Schnucks. I know it's more expensive - but I have a low key, easy shopping experience there. They have a great selection of things and usually have what I want. They also have a lot of organic products which I tend to buy...

This sign makes it seem as though their meat is never ever natural. Or natural - never ever!! Not at all what they intended, I'm sure. In fact, a closer look at their flyer stated that their meat "never ever" has certain things* added and/or done to it. Mayyyyybe they should think of re-designing their sign...in fact, I think I know someone who could probably help them with that.

*I can't remember exactly what the "things" were. And I threw out the paper that listed it. I'm sure it's good, natural stuff, maynard.

More pics

I was sitting down last night to watch some TV while my husband mowed the lawn when I got a call on my cell phone. It was him calling. My first though was that maybe he'd locked himself out of the house.

"There's a baby bunny out here if you want to see it."

Of course I did!! I went out (in my pjs and slippers) and saw this:

I just had to take some more pics of the li'l baby...they grew up fast!!

A "boy" and his cat

The other day, I bought some more maternity clothes for work. The clerk at the store left everything on the hangers and bagged it all up like a dress or a suit.

It turned out to be a great source of amusement:

Baby Bunnies

are back!

They visited us last year around this time, too. These are a little younger though - I don't think their eyes are even open yet. We didn't mess with them 'cept to snap a few pictures.

They're sooo cute! I could just adopt them all. Of course, I can't and I won't...but I will check on them and worry about them freezing to death. Mike left the baby-mama some carrots last night! (Cute, right?)
